My Accident with my ANKLE...

Oh gotta tell you ladies what I did last night. I picked up a day shift yesterday at work, got through it. Ran errands in betweeen my night shift. Got back to work, was working in my evening station in the lower bar area. Well we all know I am clumsy sometimes or prone to getting bruises and such.
(long story, sorry)
Well I had just taken an order from some guest and went to take the hostess the menu's. Stepped up the two steps to put them down, turned around and went to step down the step, and my heel caught the top part of the step. My ankle twisted adn turned outwards, popped and I went down on my tuckus. The pain shot up my ankle and leg. It brought me to tears immediately. My guests jumped up to help me up and ask if I was alright. I was like yes, I am alright. Manager made me sit for a few minutes. I asked him to go get me a ace bandage, taht I had my knee brace in my bag, but not a ace bandage, he gladly went and got one. We were sorely understaffed last night. I managed to get through 4 hours of working with it wrapped and very carefully not moving it to the lef tor right, if I did, it shoot a pain up my leg like fire.

I filled out work incident report and came home to have youngest daughter take me to emergency room. I was going to drive, but she wouldn't let me, lol. They took xrays and all that, spent 3 hours there. It wasn't broken, but badly sprained. I tore or pulled alot of tendons around the ankle. My ankle looks like a golf ball on the outer side, lol. They put a very comfortable new type of brace on my foot, it has gel type stuff like the eye patches you use on your eyes. Its on the sides of the ankle brace or foot brace. Then it velcros around leg. Its comfortable and keeps me from moving it sideways.
I got four days off work, to R.E.S.T it. I can't go back til Saturday. Thankfully I only miss Thursday shift. Still sucks. I lost like $50 last night, not being able to close and $100 tomorrow for not being able to work. UGH. They gave me some nice pain killers though and for the inflammation as well. They said it would take like 6 weeks to fully heal.
Funny thing is, I spent 6 hours running errands today, prescriptions, food, other stuff. Now I am pooped and taking a nap for a minute.

ugh its COLD!!!!

Okay the nice Indian Summer we were having, got up and left the building. GEEZ its cold these last few days.Brrrrr. I got to go hunt up my sweaters and whatnot. Short sleeves don't cut it outside.

Finishing up my Halloween swap and a few others I joined. I am trying to get my November and Decembers done here shortly, so I won't have to worry about none til January. Means I gotta go shopping for my pal soon. Gotta go check out her wishlist and see what I find here locally in the stores, or if I need to order from somewhere.

I am off tomorrow and got plenty of errands to run. Starting early tomorrow to get stuff down. I gotta call bulk pick up too about that darn couch on the side of the house, UGH. Looks so ghetto, I hate that. Wish the cars were fixed, that is driving me nutz, haha. Or not, since I am unable to drive except for the work truck. LOL.

Cya in a few days and I will post what all happened this weekend, Maybe.

Shout out...

Just stopping in to say "Hey"! Not that anyone is really browsing my blog, most folks do facebook now and I so don't get that. I have page on there, but keeping up with post and farmsville invites, gets so old. I like the blogs better. I like facebook only for searching for folks that I haven't talked to in years and can find. Other then that, its ok. Just not all that for me. Call me backwards and all, but I like the blogs and old fashion forums that I use. Funny we didn't have this stuff 15yrs ago and yet I am calling it old. Forums we had, but they were not as fancy now. I like the newer ones, especially since there faster now. Blogs are great too. I am just now getting the hang and fun out of them. Its cool.
Its just been an uneventful week for the most part. Yelling at boys to clean their stinky and dirty rooms. Do their sweaty laundry. Find mom's lost keys, that weren't lost. And now the missing item is our license plates clear set of stamps. I have a few of them from when I was using them, but we are unable to find the rest of the set. I have to go through my bag of handmades I had out, maybe they got put away with those. I spent 15minutes in the craftroom earlier trying to find them. Ole well, I will look tonight. I have to go do my face and hair, I gotta be at work by 4pm.

Fall time...and stories, lol

Thank goodness its autumn. One of my favorite times of the year. I love autumn and spring the best. The weather's not too cold or too hot. Its just right.
Well my youngest daughter is back from Indiana for good. She has decided to go to college in Ohio. And now is she is changing what she wants to study. I am glad that she held off starting school now. She is staying with her sister for now and helping her out, she is over here alot too. I am glad to have her back home. I missed her something terrible.

I have been busy this weekend posting pics on my gallery at Scrapbook.com. I had to download several memorycards and disc so I could post the pics I wanted, and then had to take some new photos of my craftroom and my tattoo, since I only posted the outline and shading(posted here on this blog as well.Only the shading as I didn't download the other image, just pulled it off my memorycard, will post another time, lol.) on my latest tattoo and they wanted to see the finished tattoo. Uploading pics onto their site takes forever and a day, so I was scrapping while I was waiting for pics to post. LOL

I also downloaded Put in Bay pics to a CD for a friend as she has been bugging me since the second trip up there to send them to her, lol. I finally got them to CD yesterday and dropped them at bowling league last night.
Now that was a fun story all in its own. We were all doing good and enjoying ourselves til her ex shows up and decides to to start stuff. He shows up in a confederate leather vest, LOL. He looked some some twisted version of ZZ top dude with the vest on, I thought he was part of YMCA for a minute. But his confederate flag thing pissed me off royally. As I am married to a black man and he did this to mess with him. (My hubby was cool and kept his cool through all this, even though it was hard for him not to smack some sense into this guy, there is no doing that. You have to have good sense for that to happen) My hubby went over to her house early in the week to be a friend and protect her, as the ex idiot had kicked her door in, yeah really nice guy.UGH. Well he(the ex) decided to show his true self last night and became a totally flaming idiot in front of everyone. Of course I had a few choice words to say to his tuckus, but it was wasted and I shouldn't have bothered. I still can't fathom what she seen in that dirt bag. Anyways, we all got bowling, dinner and a show last night while we were bowling on the teams. It improved my game, because I just pictured the pins being his head and smashing the ball into them. It helps my game and I get the frustration out in a healthy manner.LOL I did confine in her last night afterwards, that she is the only true person to get this to stop happening. She will have to take legal action. told her this will be best for her son, as if she doesn't do someting now about it, he can twist her sons mind to his warped way of thinking.

So all in all had a semi eventful weekend. The pick up truck decided to quit working near the end of the week, so now we only have the motorcycle and the work truck running. We gotta get the van running and one of the altima's running. I hate having no car what so ever to use. Feel stuck at the house. Bad thing is there is three of us working and this is fun to juggle this too. UGH. Thankfully mom and me work close to each other and sometimes around the same times, so that helps. Only one trip there and back. LOL One of the vehicles will be running by Wednesday or I will be so mad.

Oh my goodness...

I can't believe its been over a year since I posted on my blog. Guess time has gotten away from me. Plus I had so much going on this past year, its been a rocky year.
I have been working on scrapbooking stuff, swaps and such. Working on albums, cards and altered projects.
My youngest daughter graduated last year, a whole year early. She got accepted to St. Francis University in Indiana. She was to start this fall, but is holding off til early spring. My oldest daughter just moved last month, she is closer to me now. She is working anf enjoying it very much. Her daughter, my granddaughter just started kindergarten. All my boys are doing well too. The oldest is in band and doing well with that. He plays the drums, although at home he plays the electric guitar, quite well too. Although I make him use his headphones so he doesn't play it too loud.
My middle son is doing very well in school, he got accepted to an alternative high school. It is S.T.E.M. based and he can graduate within two years and get two years of college courses completed there as well and its all paid for. He's thinking of getting into some sort of engineering. He has yet to pick a field. The youngest is finally in regular classes except for his reading, but he is doing very well for the most part. He is in band this year too, second yr. trombone. He has been playing alot of football at school too.
I have switched jobs since last year as well. Helping husband with bread route. It is tiresome work. I plan to go back to serving part time though as need the extra cash to do some things for the house and whatnot. Plus extra cash for Christmas.
